These portraits represent the people in the north of Bangladesh as one of many villages gravely affected by the effects of climate change. Glaciers in the Himalayas have been melting at unprecedented speeds due to global warming, swelling rivers sometimes practically overnight. The people pictured here have been displaced by flash floods in the region of Kurigram, over four times in the last decade.
